USE OUR HEADS!

There is a time to use your head and think for yourself. That time is now!

Why do our politicians have barriers around their homes?

If we use our heads, we would quit these things.

  • Accepting all public communications as fact.

Last night on Facebook, I received a message through Messenger that I checked out, and it turns out it was not true.  Yet, it was being spread as truth that we all should merely accept by an innocent person who forgot to check out the facts first.

We need to use our heads and take time to check out the facts behind what we hear and see before we believe.

Someone incorrectly labeled a picture of a nude woman as a picture of AOC and shared it with the world.  It is a good thing that someone else noticed this and wrote the truth!

You can check out facts by googling a topic and reading various articles, on www.snopes.com, or on this website.

People will do or say anything to get you to believe what they want you to believe!

  • Believing what others claim they believe.

Just as believing all public communications is not a good idea, it is not a good idea to believe everything someone says about what he or she believes. For example, Nancy Pelosi has stated that barriers are ineffective and immoral, but Nancy has one around her large and beautiful home. Why does she not tear down her own barrier if it is ineffective and immoral?

So what does she really believe?

If someone says a barrier is immoral, go to google images and enter into their name plus “picture of home”.  You will know if the person believes what (s)he is saying, or if (s)he is just playing politics.

  • Rushing to judge someone.

The fact is that we have no right to judge anyone, and we also should not trust others’ who judge someone else.

After I have checked out the facts, too often I have found that the US media presents its own judgments instead of facts.  Unfortunately, these judgments are based on political dislikes and negative opinions, not on facts.

This touching video explains why it is not a good idea to rush to judge anyone or accept someone else’s judgment.

I used to be a Democrat, but I am now an independent thinker.  In the past, I believed whatever the news stated, but one day I woke up and realized that I had been blindly following others instead of thinking for myself. Now I check out the facts about each candidate and issue, and then I form my own opinions.  Fox News, CNN, NBC, and ABC do not affect my opinion.

Each one of us was born with a brain, so we can think for ourselves.  Perhaps our country would be much better off if we used what we were born with instead of following others blindly!

Why don’t we all use our heads?
