I hope you have a happy anniversary! An anniversary is truly a special day.
When I was younger, I thought that being in love meant passion, excitement, and romance. Now I understand that real love is all three of those, and lots more!
My husband and I know we have found true love in each other.
Love is taking walks together, holding hands, and talking over breakfast about what the day will bring. Talking through problems. Discussing current events. Cooking together. Doing chores together. Snuggling in bed and just holding each other. Knowing we will always be together.
Love is also saying “thank you” often throughout the day. We tell each other thank you as often as possible. Being appreciated makes a person feel loved.
Love is very special. My husband and I argue over who loves who more every day. I usually say it “I love you more than you love me” first, and then we go back and forth all day about this. It is our primary disagreement.
I hope you and your mate enjoy your celebration of your love on your special day. I also hope that you celebrate your love every day you of your life!
