When a storm is coming, all other birds seek shelter. The eagle alone avoids the storm by flying above it. So, in the storms of life may your heart be like an eagle’s and soar above.” – Author Unknown

Coronavirus Differences

Coronavirus differences bobbie j rae bj rae encouraging words encouragement

The coronavirus symptoms differ from any other virus. Do you know what these differences are?

You feel sick and you’re sneezing and coughing, and your temperature is a bit higher than normal. However, there are no coronavirus test centers available to you. What can you do?

Pay attention to your symptoms!  If you have lost your sense of taste and smell, you are more likely to have the virus.

Here are some differences between the covid-19 and other less worrisome health conditions.

Lack of Congestion and Loss of Senses

We’ve all had a cold before, and recognize our stopped up noses as an indication for this condition.

Although Coronavirus causes sneezing and coughing, it doesn’t cause excess mucus in most people.

The cells of this obnoxious disease cells hide in the back of a person’s nasal passageways and attack his or her sense of smell. They sneak into the body’s olfactory cells and damage them.

No, the virus doesn’t hamper the function of taste buds on the tongue, but the loss of the sense of smell does.  Smell is so psychologically linked to taste that that its loss causes a patient to feel that (s)he has also lost his or her ability to taste.

Only one percent of covid-19 patients lose their sense of smell and taste permanently.

Do you have virus symptoms and an inability to smell and taste? If so, please self-quarantine.

If you lose your sense of taste and smell and have no other symptoms, please quarantine yourself at home and speak with your doctor about the possibility that you might have coronavirus.
