Do you watch Fox News?
WARNING: NO CHILD SHOULD READ THIS POST!
This morning I lay in bed and watched the news. First, I turned to CNN and heard a story about the ‘peaceful protests’. Last night at the Democratic National Convention, Michelle Obama referred to the activities of recent activists as peaceful. Flipping to several other news outlets, the news was similar. Then I selected channel 28, Fox News Channel. What I saw made me cry.
The reporter announced that a video would show next.
“If there are any children in the room, they need to leave to room now,” she explained.
As much as we love them, our fur babies don’t count as kids. So, out of curiosity, I sat and watched a stomach-turning, mind-boggling event that happened in the past twenty-four hours.
In Portland, a woman and a man parked their car and he got out. He walked toward his destination (not the protest), but didn’t get far. Nearby protesters threw the man onto the ground and beat the h— out of him. When the thugs left him unconscious and bleeding on the concrete, his female companion exited the passenger’s door to help him. But these evil monsters jumped her, too.
Both the man and the woman are in the hospital. He’s in the ICU, and she’s in a regular hospital room.
A river of tears ran began running down my face as during the first five seconds of the video. I continued to cry for over an hour, and questions ran through my head.
How can these things happen in the greatest country in the world?
Why are domestic terrorists walking freely among us instead of in jail,
where they should be?
Part of me wishes I hadn’t watched this news segment. Like a nightmare that I can’t turn off, this video has replayed in my mind all day.
But the other part of me is thankful I watched it, because I can tell you which news channel reports the truth.
From now on, Fox News Channel is the only channel I will trust to inform me about what’s going on in the world.
I would link the video to this post, but I cannot stand the thought of asking others to watch the horrible event I saw. It’s bad enough to merely describe it.
