If I love you, I will love you with all of my heart…
Yesterday evening we arrived in my hometown where I grew up. Last night I had strange dreams all night. Some were about the challenges I experienced here, some were about the loved ones I miss terribly who are now in heaven, and some were about the people who helped me when I needed help.
Today my husband and I will visit the library here and donate an autographed copy of my book, visit the graves of loved ones I miss terribly, and meet an old friend for lunch.
Knowing I am a completely different person than I was when I was here, I am not concerned about who I will meet. People probably will not even recognize me since my appearance has changed.
In hopes that the people I meet love me for who I am just the way I am, here is my message to everyone I see today.
Yes, I have scars I did not have before. The one on my neck is the first one you will notice, but there are others deep inside my heart. My history has given me these scars. I can do nothing about them and I accept them for what they are. So I hope you do, too.
I have done my best to help everyone I can in my life and I want to continue helping others. Since you are a part of my youth, I would be honored to do what I can to help you.
No, I do not pretend to be something or someone I am not. Maybe I will put on make-up and do something interesting with my hair today, but maybe I will just look like I normally look most every other day of my life. Know that I will not change for you and make no apologies for the person I have become. I am who I am and you can love me or not.
I love myself unconditionally and I hope you love yourself unconditionally too.
Most importantly, you should also know this, that if I love you, I will love you with all of my me.
Let the encouraging words in these bobbiejrae posts help you
soar like an eagle above life’s storms.
Do you have a few good memories to remind you that someone loves you?
I have learned how to live with no regret…
Love is always greater than fear…
I love our fursons, too!
