Who is the puppet master controlling your problem? Blame him for your problem!
Yesterday I wrote a post about how to solve almost any problem. Today a friend of mine read yesterday’s post and suggested I write more posts about problems.
Do you know whom you should blame for your problems? The puppet master, of course!
When I went to Grandma’s home as a child, I had lots of materials to make various creations and I loved puppets. I made puppets and different clothes for my puppets, and then I wrote and performed my puppet shows for Grandma.
I also looked to Grandma to guide me spiritually because my home life was pretty rotten. Grandma was Christian and always loving, and she gave thoughtful answers to my questions. One day I asked her why my home life was the way it was. “Grandma, why does God allow my home to always be filled with anger and meanness?”
Her answer was wise as usual. “God does not allow people to be unkind to each other, but he does give every person the right to control his own puppet strings,” she said. She picked up two of my puppets and told me that God is not a puppet master, that he has no desire to control us. Then she went on to explain that each person is his or her own puppet master and can choose to allow either Satan, his own desires , or God’s love to guide the movements of his puppet strings.
I have never forgotten Grandma’s answer to my question. Not even when I was married to a very abusive man. My problems have never been “God’s” fault, they have always been the fault of the puppet masters controlling the unkind puppets.
So if you have a problem, please do not blame God. Blame the puppet master, even if you yourself are the puppet master.
