Here is what our Morkie Simba wishes for during the remainder of his life.
Our dog Simba is suddenly struggling with a very painful health issue. My heart aches and I am crying as I write this because I truly love this little dog. He is older and we do not know what will happen to him, but today he communicated with me.
Here is the wish that Simba communicated.
Mom and Dad, thank you for treating me kindly and lovingly! Before you adopted me my life was so hard. Knowing you are always here for me and that you love me has helped me to forget the painful memories in my past.
I am thankful also that you never hit me and that you taught me with patience and understanding the things you wanted me to learn.
You spoke to me often and even sang to me when I was upset or hurting, but you never allowed the volume to be loud enough to hurt my ears. For those things I am grateful. Even though I do not understand all of your words, I love the sound of your quiet voice.
Thanks for keeping me inside where it is warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I have enjoyed sitting on your lap, lying in bed with you, and sitting at your feet.
You adopted me even though I was a senior citizen and I have truly enjoyed my life with you.
I wish for you to promise me this one thing, though. When I can no longer move freely and comfortably and when my pain is too severe, please do not think only of yourself. Instead, please hold me gently in your arms and grant me the mercy of an eternal nap. I will leave you knowing that with the last breath I drew, you loved me with all of your heart.

Have you ever thought about what your pet would say to you? If your pet is older like Simba is, he might also wish for the mercy of an eternal rest when he is in constant pain.
Let the encouraging words in these bobbiejrae posts help you
soar like an eagle above life’s storms.
What do the words “I love you” mean?
Always be the person your pet thinks you are!
Communicate how you feel to your loved ones daily.
Yes, the recent years have been happy ones for our Morkie.
