I am walking through the storm right now. Here is my motivation to keep going.
Right now I am walking through an emotional storm. The sky around me is completely dark. I see lightning and hear the thunder in my head everywhere I go. A cold, hard, intangible rain painfully pelts my skin every millisecond.
But even though the storm has caused my electricity to fail and my flashlight has burned out, I won’t fear the dark.
This storm has tossed my dreams to the wayside of my life. It has also blown me around so much that my hair is completely tangled. My skin is bruised from all of the times I have landed on a hard surface at the end of a wind gust.
Instead of giving up, I will hold my head up high and keep walking through the storm. I know there is a beautiful golden sky at the end of the storm. At the end of the storm, the lark will sing its sweet silvery song for me, and there will be a beautiful rainbow.
Regardless of how horrific any storm becomes, I will never fear the dark or stop looking ahead of me to the brighter future that lies ahead. Instead, I will simply keep walking through the storm.
If you are walking through a storm too, please do not give up. Never forget that storms, regardless of how stressful they are, are temporary.
