When a storm is coming, all other birds seek shelter. The eagle alone avoids the storm by flying above it. So, in the storms of life may your heart be like an eagle’s and soar above.” – Author Unknown

Celebrating Today

Encouraging you to join me in celebrating today on near a river.

I am celebrating today!

Several things are happening to me right now that I am truly grateful for.

The website.

The page views of the website are increasing. On Friday of last week, https://www.bobbiejrae.com/nearariver had over 1,200 page views. Thank you to everyone who has helped increase the page views. Each page view means that I am spreading Grandma’s message. This encourages me to continue to spread her message of encouragement, faith, hope, and love.

Having traumatic brain injury, I struggle to figure out how to do things like search engine optimization. I have to try and try and try again before I finally get it right. Having worked hard on the search engine optimization of https://www.bobbiejrae.com/nearariver for over a month now, the increase in page views means that my hard work has paid off. Now this website appears on the first page of google when I type in the search term “eagle reading book”!  God is blessing my hard work!

Please continue to help me spread Grandma’s message by viewing the website!  Every page view encourages me to keep sharing her message!

Surgery just days away!

My second amputation surgery will finally happen on Friday. You might think I sound crazy saying I am happy about this, but I truly am happy about it. My feet have been hurting all of my life and the pain wears me down sometimes, so Friday is a milestone for me. The pain after the surgery will be much worse than the pain I have been putting up with for the past few months, but the surgery is the beginning of the healing process. In a few months, both of my feet will be pain free.

What in your life could you celebrate today? Have you accomplished anything recently? Will you reach any milestones soon? Celebrate whatever you can every day of your life. Celebrating today will help you to feel better about yourself and your life and will enable you to awaken with a smile tomorrow morning.

If you say you have nothing to celebrate, please think again.  Think about working hard to reach goals and milestones in your life.  Figure out what you can do to make things happen, keep working hard, then wait for God to bless your efforts. If I can figure out how to successfully do search engine optimization in spite of my traumatic brain injury, you can find a way to reach your goals and milestones too!

Celebrating today your milestones and accomplishments will enable you to soar like an eagle over life’s storms.
