Happy New Year 2018! Here is a Serenity Prayer for everyone for every day of the New Year!
Grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change,
The motivation to change the things I can,
And the strength to overcome.
Help me to live in the present,
Not worrying about the past or future.
With hope as my guiding light,
Accepting every test as a chance to succeed.
Enable me to learn from my missteps,
Not becoming upset by them.
With self-acceptance as my guiding light.
Changing every down thought to positive.
Enable me to live in such a way
To not be anxious or depressed.
With enough sleep, patience, self-compassion.
Fortifying myself to succeed.
Enable me to trust in you,
To surrender to your will.
Always knowing your power.
Becoming as happy in this life as possible.
