Dear Mom,
Happy Mother’s Day! You deserve it.
For my life, I thank you.
It was not easy to bring me into this world. Childbirth is very painful, I know. And I’m sure it was not easy to raise me. You had to make many difficult choices and sacrifices to help me become the person I am today. You also had to set a good example for me to follow even when you were tired, by holding your temper and smiling instead.
Thank you, Mother, for all you have done for me.
Know that I will always love you!
Wherever you go, whatever you do, know that I carry love for you in my heart.
Also know that whenever we spend time together, I am at home no matter where we go or what we do. Just because spending time with you makes me feel safe and loved.
You love has enabled me to become who I am today.
The example you set for me when I was growing up gave me a constancy I came to rely on and taught me to be constant and reliable. Thank you for teaching me to be loving and kind and to work hard for the things I want in life.
One of the things I am most grateful to you for is giving me a love of reading. You read to me as often as you could before I learned to read and this gave me a desire to read. Then you continued to read to and with me after I could read for myself. Reading gave me many skills that have made me the successful person I am today.
Also, I thank you for taking me to church and introducing me to God, other Christians, and the Christian way of life. Thank you for sharing your faith with me. Your faith is now my faith.
My dear Mom, you are also my friend, my companion, and my advisor. Even when I am struggling, I know you are always here for me. Your commitment to me brings me my greatest joy and has taught me what unconditional love is.
If I searched the whole world, I could never find a better Mother. You are a perfect example of loving and caring and compassion and concern. Just talking with you makes me feel better, and spending time with you reminds me of how important family is.
I hope we enjoy a beautiful Mother’s Day together, my Dear Mom.
