When a storm is coming, all other birds seek shelter. The eagle alone avoids the storm by flying above it. So, in the storms of life may your heart be like an eagle’s and soar above.” – Author Unknown

A Fantastic Life

Encouraging you to have a fantastic life on near a river.

Want to know what you can do to make your life fantastic?

Want to have a fantastic life?  Try doing at least two of these things each day…

  1. Take a walk every day for at least 15 minutes.  As you walk, smile.  This is a great way to combat depression.
  2. Sit in silence at least 10 minutes each day.
  3. Eat more foods that grow on plants and less food that people manufacture in plants. Grow some plants and produce your own food if you can.
  4. Try to make at least three people smile each day.
  5. Don’t waste your valuable energy on gossip, toxic people, past issues, and things you cannot control. Invest your energy in positives in your present life.
  6. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out credit card.
  7. Remind yourself that life is not fair, but it is still good.
  8. Forgive others. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
  9. Don’t take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
  10. Agree to disagree instead of trying to win every argument.
  11. Make peace with your past so it does not spoil your present.
  12. Don’t compare yourself to others. You have no idea what they are going though.
  13. Always remember that no one is in charge of your happiness but you.
  14. When you start to get upset about something, ask yourself, “In five years, will this matter?”
  15. Help others! Be a giver not a taker!
  16. Never forget that what others think of you is none of your business.
  17. Remember this: however bad your current situation is, it will change.
  18. Your job will not take care of you when you are sick, but your friends will. Stay in touch.
  19. Before you go to bed each night, be thankful for what you have accomplished today. Regardless of how unimportant your accomplishments may seem.
  20. Consider yourself too blessed to be stressed.
  21. Never allow a bully to get to you.

Today I was feeling very frustrated and had to remind myself of these things.  So I am telling you, too.

Please always remember that the quality of your life depends on you, not on the world around you. You can have a fantastic life!
