From You to You

Didn’t get the gift you wanted?  Here are gifts from you to you that you will definitely enjoy.

If you didn’t get the gift you wanted, perhaps you can give yourself these gifts.  Since they’re special gifts from you to you, only you can give them to yourself.

  • Love and hugs

Repeat these words to yourself.  Because I love and accept myself the way I am, I forgive myself for what I did not know until I learned it–for the mistakes I’ve made.

If you repeat this to yourself at least ten times a day, you’ll definitely show yourself love and invisibly wrap your arms around yourself.

These positive affirmations enable you to stop looking to others for approval. They also enable you to make progress toward your goals.

Remember, positive affirmations combined with actions help you to make your dreams come true!

  • Peace

Give yourself the gift of peace–let go of negative thoughts.  Forgive others for anything they have done that upset you in any way, replace relationships with toxic people with healthy relationships, and spend time doing things you enjoy.

Spend your time doing the things you enjoy doing with people who accept you for who you are!

  • Joy

Joy comes from a connection with others.

Giving helps you feel connected to others more than receiving does. It releases you from loneliness and causes your brain to produce more oxytocin, a hormone vital to your emotional well-being. The hypothalamus in your brain produces this hormone, which benefits a number of conditions—including depression, anxiety, intestinal problems, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

  • Health

This year I gave myself the gift of health. I have lost 35 pounds and given up all sweeteners, all sugars, and sugar substitutes.

Many of my family members have diseases that I’ve not yet gotten and don’t want.  My weight loss and a healthy diet could help prevent me from getting them.

How can you give yourself the gift of health?
