Once again it’s time to consider how your year has been so far.
Although I keep a journal and can look back on any day to recall out what I did that day, I am amazed at how fast the past twelve months have flown by. Where did all of this year go? How did it pass so quickly?
This year I have helped at least three people a day in some way, small or large. I have tried to spread my Grandma’s message of hope, love, and encouragement through my interactions with others and also through my writing. So I think I have had a pretty good year in spite of ongoing problems.
But I still find myself asking these questions about my own life. Have I…
-
Learned anything new?
-
Overcome any challenges in my life?
-
Helped anyone else overcome any challenges?
-
Contributed any gifts to the world?
-
Helped others?
-
Eliminated negatives from my life?
-
Rekindled or started any new relationships?
-
Seen any interesting, new places?
-
Let go of anything I could not control?
-
Made health a priority?
Based on my answers to my usual November questions, this year has been one of the best years of my life so far. Hopefully, you have had a great one, too. But if you have not had a great year, you still have some time to turn it into one of the greatest years of your life so far.
How has your year gone so far?
You can still make your year great by examining what you do each day. Try to learn something new, overcome challenges in your life, help others, and contribute your own gifts to the world. Eliminate negatives from your life, rekindle or start healthy relationships, and visit places that will inspire you. Let go of things you cannot control and make health a priority. Remember that you cannot help anyone else if you do not first take care of yourself!
