Learn better in English!

After writing a paper, copy and paste it on Google Translate, then listen to it to find mistakes.

Learn better in Math!

Download the app Photo Math.  It lets you take pictures of math problems and then teaches you the correct steps to solve them.

When you are reviewing problems for an exam, try to explain out loud what strategy and methods you used to get your solutions. These verbal declarations will come in handy during a test when you need to recall the steps you should take to find a solution. Get additional practice by trying this tactic with a friend.

Learn to remember better!

  • You are more likely to recall something you wrote in blue ink than something you wrote in black ink.
  • Peppermint stimulates the brain and helps you concentrate more.
  • While studying for a certain subject, pretend you must teach the material. This technique will help you pay more attention while you study.
  • Studying hard for thirty to fifty minutes at a time with ten minute breaks in between is the most effective way to study.

  • Never multitask when you are trying to learn something.  Multitasking always makes learning more difficult.

There are only twenty-four hours in a day and we all need to use them as well as possible.  If we can learn what we need to learn in less time, we will be better off.
