A letter to all Dads…
Happy Father’s Day, Dads!
I hope you are celebrating the fact that your child loves you and that you love your child today and every other day of the year.
Did you know these facts about love?
- It requires communication to exist and flourish.
Hopefully you and your child/children always keep the door of communication open. Love needs communication to remain alive.
- Love has a sense of belonging.
Your child belongs to you and you belong to your child. Regardless of how old your child is or how rocky your relationship with your child has been over the years.
- Love has a component of free will.
No one can force another person to love him or her. Each one of us can choose to love someone or not.
Please choose to always love your child and show your child you love him or her every day. In your words, actions, and body language. When your child comes to you in distress as an adult, please exercise your free will and listen lovingly. You may save your child’s life by doing this.

We need to love each other every chance we get, because no one among us knows when his or her time on earth will be up.
I hope all Dads have a happy Father’s Day and that all Dads spend time loving their children today!
Let the encouraging words in these near a river posts help you
soar like an eagle above life’s storms.
Don’t just follow the crowd!
Always listen to your child with love.
Dad, do you want to look younger longer?
Even if your past is troubled, always be proud.
