Our tires should have arrived today, but today tire store manager John told us our tires did not come in. They “mysteriously disappeared” on their way here.
I was not feeling well when John called. Not feeling well when John called could have caused me to forget the benefits of self-control. But I did not allow myself to become upset. My husband and I remained calm. We came up with one strategy that might get us the tires we need in four days. I feel proud that I did not lose self-control today.
Teach your loved ones self-control. Be a mindful person. Role model patience. Tell your loved ones what you are doing and why. Remember that your children copy your actions, not your words.
May you soar like an eagle over life’s storms and always have self-control and success.
