Do you support this? If you answer ‘no’, you need to stop and think.
An older couple lives in an average home on an average street. Both have health problems that limit their activities and their only daughter died from coronavirus. Living on a small income from the government and with no family to help them, they cannot afford to pay for help around their home. They need someone to cook, clean, and shop for them.
Three possible solutions to their problem:
- First the government could order you to provide services to this elderly couple without any compensation.
- Second, the government could order you to give them the money you earned that you plan to use to take care of your own needs.
- Or, third, the government could take the money you paid into your social security account for your own retirement to help them.
This totalitarian government sounds crazy, right?
Who would vote for leadership
who would do these things?
But I must ask you, which option do you support? Even if you are a kindhearted human being, you don’t want your own hard-earned money taken from you forcefully. You’d rather share what you can, right? After all, you live in a free market economy in which you can choose what you do with your money.
Why do I ask you this question?
America is moving toward a totalitarian government. Too many US citizens want the government to take care of them from cradle to grave. Sadly, most people under age thirty-five and many much older aren’t aware of the fact that every totalitarian government has collapsed under the weight of too much debt.
Yes, life is hard right now,
and we all need more money.
But the way to get it long-term isn’t from the government.
If we don’t want our money that we’ve earned redistributed as in all three options above, we need to support our free market economy. We need to think creatively and solve our own problems—work harder and smarter. Can’t we think of a skill we have and market it to others who need it? That sure beats too much government debt and too much government control, doesn’t it?
When we depend on the government for our survival,
the government also controls us.
It can tell us how to live
each moment of our lives.
- How much of our own money can we keep?
- Can I protect my family with a gun?
- What doctors can I see and when can I see them?
- Which medications can I take?
- How large is my home?
- Can I attend college? If so, what school can I attend?
- What church can I attend? What are my religion options?
Even if you might not live much longer, don’t you want your progeny to have freedom and opportunities to succeed?
Mark my words, by the year 2040 the US will be unable to support its debt and Americans will be like the poor people in Venezuela, who cannot even buy a single role of toilet paper because there is none to buy. Their government and their economy both completely collapsed. Of course, perhaps they don’t need toilet paper because they have no food or clean water to drink. They’ve already eaten their pets and now are simply hungry.
Venezuelans gave their personal freedoms to their government, and now they all wish they’d voted differently.
If the left takes control of our government, you WILL regret your past voting record. Fortunately, I have a health condition that just might shorten my life, so maybe I won’t see the fall of the US.
In 2040, what kind of life do you want for your family?
If you want a good, satisfactory one,
think about voting for balance in Washington, D.C.
