We all have finite resources. \u00a0How will you use yours?<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Encouraging<\/p>\n

My friend Mark\u2019s family has always burned up most of its finite resources on useless endeavors and still does to this day.<\/p>\n

As a child, there was constant arguing (a useless endeavor) in Mark\u2019s home To this day, his family still constantly does not get along.\u00a0 His Mother passed away a few years ago and his Dad is terminally ill.\u00a0 And instead of getting along, his brother has been backstabbing him by telling his Dad negative untruths about him.\u00a0 Mark\u2019s brother has successfully caused a major rift between Mark and the rest of his family.<\/p>\n

Why is Mark\u2019s family like this?\u00a0 The parents did not manage their finite resources well when the children were young and now the older brother does the same thing.\u00a0 Mark’s brother does not value relationships with others and time, two finite resources that we all should value.<\/p>\n

Do you realize that once you burn out a relationship you cannot take back what you have done or said?\u00a0 The same thing applies with time. \u00a0However you choose to use your time, it is gone after it has passed.\u00a0 Time and relationships both are finite resources.<\/p>\n

Proverbs 4:8 gives excellent advice to everyone.\u00a0 It says, \u201cFinally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, think on these things.\u201d<\/p>\n

From the moment you first open your eyes in the morning, think about what is good and right in your life.\u00a0 And help others to do the same thing.\u00a0 If you do these two things, you will manage your resources much more effectively. You will have positive relationships with friends, acquaintances, and family.\u00a0 And you will also use your time wisely.<\/p>\n

Parents, please teach your children to use their finite resources well by your own example as they grow up.\u00a0 If you do this, both you and they will reap the benefits of your efforts!<\/p>\n
