Jim and his wife Lisa had\u00a0ten children.<\/p>\n<p>All ten children were\u00a0well-mannered. \u00a0They did chores and helped each other with homework.<\/p>\n<p>The oldest child put herself through college and landed a good job. Then she paid the college expenses of the next child.\u00a0The children repeated this pattern until all ten had good jobs.<\/p>\n<p>Jim and\u00a0Lisa got older and their\u00a0health began to fail. All\u00a0ten children pooled resources. Mom and Dad received excellent care until they died.<\/p>\n<p>How did Jim and\u00a0Lisa raise such a successful family?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Education<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They surrounded their children\u00a0with books and encouraged them to love reading.\u00a0 By their own example, they taught effective communication.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Values<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jim and his wife taught their children values. To wonder and question the world around them. To apologize sincerely. And\u00a0 to succeed in life by using their gifts and following their hearts.<\/p>\n<p>They prepared all ten children to become the CEO\u2019s, doctors and engineers they became. They taught them to be happy, to know the value of things, and to respect family above all else.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>Jim and Lisa\u00a0did not spoil their children.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, they taught their children well. They gave them the most important gifts: the gifts of valuing family, reading and writing, effective communication, knowing the value of things. And, most importantly, the gift of respect.<\/p>\n<p>You can\u00a0teach a child to be successful. Simply give your\u00a0child the gifts that Jim and Lisa gave their children.<\/p>\n<p>Enable a child to soar like an eagle above life\u2019s storms.
