There is a time to stay out of harm’s way, and a time to “FEAR”– face everything and rise!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Encouraging<\/p>\n

My definition of fear is \u201cface everything and rise\u201d.<\/h4>\n

Until I was almost four years old, I heard loud violent arguing for hours every day.\u00a0 I hid in a small space in the back of a closet.\u00a0 I could do nothing to stop the arguing so I stayed out of the way.<\/p>\n

Then I became afraid of monsters under my bed.\u00a0 One night, my brother lay next to me on the floor, shining a flashlight under my bed for what seemed like forever.\u00a0 I looked everywhere under my bed many times.\u00a0 And I saw no monsters.<\/p>\n

Before my brother helped me face my monster fear, I was fearful and timid. \u00a0Facing the monsters under my bed with my brother taught me a valuable lesson.\u00a0 Running from fear makes you nervous, anxious,\u00a0 and agitated.\u00a0 But facing your fears gives you confidence and courage.<\/p>\n

As an adult, I had to learn to face my fears again.\u00a0 My ex-husband was a real monster.\u00a0 And he was abusive.\u00a0 It took me years to figure out how to leave him.\u00a0 But I eventually found courage to face him in divorce court.\u00a0 I never considered going back to that monster.<\/p>\n

I still face my fears and rise instead of running from them.\u00a0 If I hear a frightening noise during the night and cannot get back to sleep, I get up and check it out<\/a>.\u00a0 I do not ask my husband to check it out.\u00a0 I generate more confidence and courage within myself by facing my fears.<\/p>\n

The lesson I learned with my brother\u2019s help has enabled me to get through many challenges.<\/p>\n

Now I simply face everything and rise.<\/h4>\n

You can teach your loved ones to face everything and rise.\u00a0 Simply practice this yourself.\u00a0 As you practice it, tell your loved ones what you are doing and why.\u00a0 Make sure you also enable your loved ones to face everything and rise like my brother did for me years ago.\u00a0 If you even suspect someone is afraid of anything, help him to face it and rise!<\/p>\n

There is a time to protect yourself from harm.\u00a0 There is a time is a time to stay out of harm\u2019s way.\u00a0 But when you can do something to solve a situation, it is time to face everything and rise.<\/p>\n
