{"id":1288,"date":"2017-04-13T19:18:35","date_gmt":"2017-04-14T00:18:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nearariver.com\/?p=1288"},"modified":"2026-09-10T11:23:02","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T15:23:02","slug":"patience-near-river-bj-rae-eagle-encouraging-words","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bobbiejrae.com\/nearariver\/patience-near-river-bj-rae-eagle-encouraging-words\/","title":{"rendered":"Have Patience and Be Successful!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em>Patience is one attribute of a successful person.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Successful people have something in common&#8211;patience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">We are still waiting for tires we ordered a few weeks ago. \u00a0This situation has allowed me \u00a0to practice self-control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I continually remind myself that I want to be \u00a0successful. \u00a0I remind myself of the benefits of patience.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Reduced stress levels.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Patience reduces your stress level. \u00a0A reduced stress level makes you healthier and happier and enables you to deal with situations better.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Successful people must constantly reduce their stress levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Better decision-making.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Patience allows you to consider a situation and weigh pros and cons. It improves decision-making ability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Successful people must have good decision-making abilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Healthier relationships.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Patience results in increased empathy and compassion. You are more empathetic and compassionate with others when you are patient.\u00a0Patient people also take time to process events and find ways to overcome obstacles.\u00a0 This improves your relationships with everyone around you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Successful people must have healthy relationships with the people around them.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Accomplishing goals.<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Anything worthwhile takes time and taking time requires self-control. Patience enables a person to achieve goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Successful people accomplish their goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">***<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Our tires should have arrived today, but today tire store manager John told us our tires did not come in. \u00a0They &#8220;mysteriously disappeared&#8221; on their way here.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">I was not feeling well when John called. Not feeling well when John called could have caused me to forget the benefits of self-control. But I did not allow myself to become upset. \u00a0My husband and I remained calm. We came up with one strategy that might get us the tires we need in four days. \u00a0I feel proud that I did not lose self-control today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Teach your loved ones self-control.\u00a0 Be a mindful person. Role model patience. \u00a0Tell your loved ones what you are doing and why.
