He set an example for them to follow.<\/p>\n<p>A strong person helps (serves) others, regardless of his rank.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Endure the hard times patiently.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jesus knew that he would be crucified on Friday.\u00a0 He knew this would be a difficult and painful time. \u00a0And he endured this difficult and painful time patiently.<\/p>\n<p>A strong person endures hard times patiently.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jesus.org\/death-and-resurrection\/the-crucifixion\/who-was-present-at-the-cross.html\">Be strong and stand up for your beliefs.\u00a0<\/a><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One of his disciples named Judas Iscariot led an angry mob to Jesus.\u00a0 Judas identified Jesus to the angry mob by kissing him on the cheek.\u00a0 Before his crucifixion, Peter denied even knowing him.<\/p>\n<p>But the other ten disciples did not deny or betray Jesus.\u00a0 The majority of Jesus\u2019 disciples supported him until his crucifixion.<\/p>\n<p>A strong person stands up for his beliefs, regardless of how others mock him.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblehub.com\/matthew\/16-21.htm\">The power of faith<\/a>.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Jesus\u2019 father, God, had told Jesus he would be crucified.\u00a0 He also told Jesus he would rise again on the third day. In spite of the pain and agony he had to endure, he kept his faith.\u00a0 His true followers kept their\u00a0faith also. The third day after his crucifixion, he rose again.<\/p>\n<p>Faith is powerful.\u00a0 Faith enabled Jesus to endure great pain and agony.\u00a0 It enabled his followers to cope with what happened.<\/p>\n<p>A strong person knows the power of faith.\u00a0 A strong person holds onto faith in the hard times. \u00a0He knows faith will enable him to survive.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>Teach your child these lessons about being a strong person. Set an example for your child.\u00a0 Be a strong person.
