Everyone needs a \u201cfast pass\u201d now and then to get through life. Here is how to get this valuable item<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Recently my husband and I went to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.\u00a0 After we checked in, we walked to the concierge office to get our Epcot tickets for the next day.<\/p>\n

My husband waited outside while I purchased our tickets, An employee walked by and started chatting with him.\u00a0 When I exited the office, the employee was telling my husband about her family.\u00a0 One of her children has two issues that cause him to need extra help to survive childhood.<\/p>\n

Knowing I had dealt with these issues in my classroom, he suggested I give the employee one of my business cards, and she gave me one of hers in return.\u00a0 I told her some of the strategies I used in my classroom to help children with issues similar to her son\u2019s.<\/p>\n

That night I worked on my husband\u2019s computer for a few hours before going to bed. Forty individual updates took up to twenty-five minutes each to install.<\/p>\n

Because I wanted to do something while waiting, I found resources for the woman we’d met earlier and emailed them to her.<\/p>\n

Of course, I expected nothing in return.<\/h4>\n

The next day, I was sitting outside one of the most popular Epcot attractions, \u201cSoarin’\u201d, when my cell phone rang.\u00a0 It was the woman I had emailed the night before.\u00a0 She thanked me and told me she had added three more fast passes to our account, and we could use them anytime.\u00a0 I thanked her and told my husband.<\/p>\n

Since we were only visiting Epcot one day, each fast pass she added to our account made a huge difference.\u00a0 We were able to enjoy each one of the most popular Epcot attractions without standing in line, even though we were there on a holiday.<\/p>\n

Even though I never expect anything in return when I do something for others, often they give me a fast pass for my life.\u00a0 And every fast pass I get improves my life.<\/p>\n

Life is too short, and each one of us needs as many fast passes as possible!<\/h4>\n
