Then Sunday morning she came and picked it up.\u00a0 I am thankful for the freedom to help others. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bobbiejrae.com\/nearariver\/category\/change-world-near-river-bj-rae-eagle\/\">I will change the world one person at a time by helping others<\/a>!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Thankful for the freedom to access medical care.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On Sunday, my left foot (recently had amputation surgery) suddenly became painful and red and swollen.\u00a0 It had not been that way for at least a week.\u00a0 At 10 pm, my husband drove me to the Emergency Room.\u00a0 I was not happy about going at the time.\u00a0 I dreaded what the doctor might tell me.<\/p>\n<p>But it turned out to be just an infection on the skin and I need to take antibiotics and rest until it clears up.\u00a0 Although I did not want to go to the ER, I am glad I did.\u00a0 And also glad that I do not need any further surgery.<\/p>\n<p>I have friends in other countries who do not have the freedom to access medical care.\u00a0 I wish they did but I must accept the things I cannot change.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h4>Thankful for the positives in my life!<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I am thankful that I have the elements mentioned in the serenity prayer above.\u00a0 That I accept the things I cannot change, change the things I can, and know the difference between the two.<\/p>\n<p>I am thankful I have the freedom and ability to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bobbiejrae.com\/nearariver\/category\/change-world-near-river-bj-rae-eagle\/\">be a world changer<\/a>, that I can change the world one person at a time.<\/p>\n<p>I am also thankful to have many friends and a very loving husband. He is a veteran, and I am thankful for his service and the service of every veteran and military service member.\u00a0 I would not live in a free country without their service.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p>What are you thankful for today?\u00a0 What are you celebrating today?<\/p>\n<p>Parents, tell your kids what you are thankful for today and every day of your life. Teach them to celebrate the positives in their lives!
