{"id":5486,"date":"2017-12-14T09:19:46","date_gmt":"2017-12-14T14:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nearariver.com\/?p=5486"},"modified":"2026-09-10T11:23:08","modified_gmt":"2026-09-10T15:23:08","slug":"surrendering-completely-words-encouragement-near-river-bj-rae-eagle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bobbiejrae.com\/nearariver\/surrendering-completely-words-encouragement-near-river-bj-rae-eagle\/","title":{"rendered":"Surrendering Completely"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em>Sometimes surrendering a relationship is the only thing you can do!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Dear Mother,<\/p>\n<p>I will not try to contact you again until you contact me lovingly and respectfully.<\/p>\n<p>Why am I doing this?\u00a0 It is the only thing I can do at the moment.\u00a0 Yesterday I saw the podiatrist again.\u00a0 We drove on icy and snowy roads for three hours only to be told that we get to do that a few more times to deal with my foot issues again.\u00a0 The podiatrist told me that I need to have the same amputation surgery he did on my left foot in June done to my right foot.\u00a0 My right foot has the same problem.<\/p>\n<p>What caused this foot problem, you might ask?\u00a0 As I child, I did not have proper fitting shoes. When I walked to school,my feet hurt and I kicked my shoes off as often as possible. Do you remember the day you were at work and I stepped on a rusty nail outside?\u00a0 My shoes were hurting my feet so badly and I wanted to be able to run with my siblings whose shoes were not hurting their feet, so I kicked off my shoes and chased my siblings.<\/p>\n<h4>Although I feel very angry with you at the moment, I still love you.<\/h4>\n<p>Mother, I did not ask to be born to you. And you have never treated me like you treat my siblings.\u00a0 Since I am already over 50 years old, I wish you could get over the fact that I am the product of your extramarital affair and treat me in the same manner you treat my two living siblings.
