When a storm is coming, all other birds seek shelter. The eagle alone avoids the storm by flying above it. So, in the storms of life may your heart be like an eagle’s and soar above.” – Author Unknown

Our Leaf Peeping Trip

Encouraging you to enjoy leaf peeping trip on near a river.

Join us on a leaf-peeping trip!

Do you like the mountains?  I do!  Mountains make me feel peaceful and relaxed. To me, the mountains are like heaven!

Today we went driving to leaf peep in the mountains near our home for hours. Here are some of the highlights of our trip.

Alas, the “sun heaven pictures”.  I love the way the sun seems to connect heaven and Earth.

This cloud looked like a fish to us. What do you think these other clouds look like?

Some of the leaf pictures.  There were even red and green Christmas leaves!

And leaves with the mountains in the background.

Above us we saw leaves, and below us, too.

Also, there were leaves by a stream.

The trash I threw away!

I found these shoes at the base of trail.

I took them to the ranger station.

And the ranger gave us ice cream! It was very tasty!

We were not the only leaf peepers today.  There were busloads of leaf peepers.

We came home tired and happy.  We had a healthy and fun day today.  The fresh mountain air was clean and relaxing!  We will sleep well tonight!

Stay healthy! Take time out of your busy life to enjoy your own leaf-peeping trip.
